About the Organisation


Think India is a pan-India initiative to bring together with the best minds of the country and to infuse in them a ‘Nation First’ attitude. It is a forum of students, researchers, alumni, and faculty members from the premier institutes like IITs, IIMs, NITs, NLUs and another such premier institutes in various fields of academia, across India.

Since its inception, Think India has been carrying out various activities in different National Institutes around the country. These activities include talks by experts, seminars, workshops, essays, bill drafting competitions, etc. Apart from such events, it also provides internships to students under VIDHI, NITI, ANUBHOOTI, SANSADIYA, and International Law Commission internship programs.


About the Event


The pandemic has left us all to explore new ways of learning and as rightly said that only action will define us, so to preserve the democratic spirit of the country, we must keep the debate and discussion going in the society. We at Think India are proud and honored to invite you for the Think India e-Debate 2020 (TIeD, Our very first e-Debate Competition on an online platform.). On behalf of Think India, we are honored to invite you to the event.

Think India is a national forum, which strives to connect students from NLUs, IIMs, IISc and JGU across various disciplines through a nationalistic string to achieve national reconstruction.

The event is based on the theme of *Indic Values *and *Contemporary issues prevailing in the society* and is scheduled to be held from 25 July to 27 July on the E-platform. We would be following the British Parliamentary style of Debating for the event. The E-Debate is based on the Indic phrase and would be held on the online platform- Cisco
WebEx.

This debate is a wonderful opportunity for students across the country to voice their opinion and constructively add colors to the conversation pertaining to Indic debating themes. The debate organizers will be accepting registration requests for teams of three for a nominal charge as mentioned in the attached brochure additionally registration link has been attached below.
