About the Webinar

Public Concern for Governance Trust (PCGT) is organising a webinar on ‘Ethics and Professional Standards in a Modern Law Firm’ in association with SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law and J. Sagar and Associates (JSA).

This webinar focuses on the essential element of Professional Standards in the legal profession. The webinar will serve to provide a practical and nuanced understanding of the ethical and professional standards expected in modern law firms. The session will encompass some of the relevant provisions of the Advocates Act and Bar Council of India Rules along with a few interesting case laws on ethics.

The session will further facilitate a discussing the concept of professional liability, by providing illustrative examples to help the law students and young professionals understand the ‘dos’ and ‘don’ts’ of professional life.

And lastly, the session will attempt to providing the students and young professionals an opportunity to interact with coveted speakers from one of the leading and most prestigious law firms in India.
