First day formalities

Due to restrictions on mobility due to the Corona-virus, it was a virtual internship.The firm provided the tasks for the first week and provided necessary instructions through Whats app communication.

Main tasks

My tasks done during the internship varied from time to time. These included:

Writing Legal Notice against LG India in relation to Consumer Protection Act, 2019

Writing Legal letter to Allahabad High Court in relation to Hathras gang rape case.

Drafting RTI to Labour Department to seek information about the implementation of M.C. Mehta Vs. State of Tamil Nadu & Others 1996.

Providing legal opinion on various laws and cases.

Pros

It was a major learning experience as I learned a lot of new skills in the duration of the Internship. The scope of research was wide and technical. The firm maintained a proper communication through what app and solved my queries regarding the task. Also, sir communicated with us individually over call every week regarding the tasks and provided necessary feedback of the tasks.

Cons

As any virtual internship would have, the hindrance of movement proved to be somewhat a barrier for better communication. The density of work may increase a few times.
