Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) released an earlier notice on December 16, 2020, stating that the end–semester examination of the coming semesters will be conducted in an online mode. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the University has decided to take such a step after a number of students previously disagreed with its decision of conducting offline exams as it is not safe and favourable at the moment for anyone.
The end semester exams of GGSIPU of 3rd and
5th semester will be starting on 15th January 2021(tentatively). The final
datasheet will be uploaded soon and be informed as and when received. Admit
cards will be issued in the first week of January as and when received from
University; whether online or in print form depends on in form received. SIPR
Viva/practical etc. will be beforehand and be informed by the college
accordingly. The reappear exam will also be held in the same online way. The
datasheet will come separately for that.
It’s been reported that colleges like DME
and MSI have a certain set of guidelines for how the semester exams shall take
place.
