D91 Labs:
D91 labs is an open-source initiative by Setu to understand and enhance the financial lives of Bharat that embrace financial inclusion at the grass-root level. D91 Labs aims to bridge the empathy gap between the fintech product developers and the last mile customers of Bharat. We publish open-source research, insights, frameworks and component libraries for any fintech company to develop digital offerings for India.
About the Opportunity
D91 Labs is looking for a user research intern to work on an interesting project at the intersection of women’s financial inclusion and technology.
Duration: 3 to 4 months
Location: Remote
Responsibilities
- Participating and conducting in long-form interviews to be over video conference to understand the financial journey, tech adoption, and aspirations in the life of these women.
- Recording, transcribing, generating insight, and suitably drafting publications through the D91 Labs platform.
Time commitment
The individual will be expected to work with us for approximately 20 to 25 hours a week.

- User research and analysis
Qualification requirements
- A 3rd year or above student or an experienced professional with prior internship or work experience in a similar field.
- Firm grasp over written and verbal English and Hindi languages. Fluency in any other Indian language is preferred but not a mandatory requirement.
