About the Job Opportunity
Project Kalki is seeking to engage the services of a law professional with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification work experience, for the role of Litigator, in Nagpur.

Eligibility
Minimum Qualifications
- Academic: BA LLB Master’s degree is desirable
- License: Bar Council License to practice in Maharashtra
- Languages (Proficiency/Fluency in writing and speaking): English, Marathi and Hindi
Experience
- Duration: Minimum of 4 years
- Areas of law: POCSO, ITPA, CrPC, IPC and all other relevant laws
Additional Skills and Qualities
- Highly motivated and ability to take initiative
- Attention to detail
- Empathetic and put the needs of the victims at the forefront
- Experience working in dynamic set ups and with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong skills in documentation and organizing
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the victim in all trial proceedings including and not limited to bail, pre-trial, trial, appeal hearings, custody hearings
- Conduct legal research and prepare written briefs used to develop case strategy
- Draft applications, petitions, and closing arguments to support the Public Prosecutor in all cases
- Develop and implement litigation plans for each case
- Develop relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Advise and train government authorities, aftercare homes and other partners on legal issues related to commercial sexual exploitation
- Advise the team on measures to increase convictions and ensure compensation for all victims
- Maintain internal relationships with Operations, Aftercare, Social Workers, Client Engagement, Research Function, Analytics and other verticals in the organization

Selection Process
Recruitment will be a four-step process.
- Out of the pool of candidates, the recruiter will select those whose resume/curriculum vitae best suits the job requirement.
- Candidates who have been selected will have the first round of interviews with a recruiter from Human Resources.
- For the second round, the candidates will be required to submit an assignment.
- The final round will consist of an interview with the hiring manager.
