Eligibility
- Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Language Proficiency: The candidate must be able to speak Manipuri or any of the Tribal dialect of Manipur.
- Residence: The candidate must be a permanent resident of Manipur provided that a candidate whose parent or any of his/her ancestors in his/her direct lineage are a permanent resident of the State, with proper documentary proof.
- Age Limit: A candidate shall not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as onJanuary 1, 2021. (Upper age limit is relaxable for Government servants appointed underthe Government of Manipur to the extent of the period of continuous service put in thepost/service).
- Note: There will be no age relaxation for SC/ST & OBC candidates as there is no reservedpost reserved for SC/ST & OBC category for this examination.
Essential Educational Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognised University.
- Must possess knowledge of the local language of at least Middle standard.
