The Two-Day Workshop on Entertainment Laws: International and National Perspectives is organized by Indian Society of International Law (ISIL) from March 19-20, 2022.

About the Organiser

The Indian Society of International Law (ISIL) was founded in 1959 at the initiative of Shri V. K. Krishna Menon and was inaugurated in the same year by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of independent India, with the objective to “foster nation-wide the study and development of International Law and to encourage the comparative study of the application of International Law in other States”.

About the Workshop

ISIL is organizing a Two-day Workshop on Entertainment Laws: International and National Perspectives on 19-20 March 2022. The classes will be conducted online.

The topics will relate to: Legal Regimes Regulating Entertainment Sector, Role of IP Law in the Entertainment Sector, Law and Music, Artist Agreements, Copyright Societies, Dispute Resolution under the Entertainment Sector, Technology & Entertainment Industry etc.

The course will comprise of online lectures, discussions, interactive sessions, from 10 am to 4 pm on 19-20 March 2022.

How to Register?

  • Participants will be admitted on the basis of first-cum-first serve. Demand drafts shall be drawn in the favour of the Indian Society of International Law.
  • Online registration is also placed at ISIL Website. At the end of the course, a certificate of attendance will be given to all the participants.

Fee details

  • The course fee will be Rs. 800/- for students and Rs. 900/- for teachers, lawyers and other professionals.
  • An additional fee of Rs. 50 will be charged for online payments.
