About the Workshop

The workshop seeks to educate the participants on different facets of cross-examination covering the law and practical aspects. Cross-examination plays a very important role in giving credibility to the testimony of witnesses. It is very important as it forms an integral part of our workshop.

Though the law students have been exposed to cross-examination in criminal law, awareness regarding the procedure and some important practical aspects of it is missing.

This workshop seeks to cover the gap by ensuring that the participants are well aware of how a cross-examination happens in a court of law. Through this workshop, we seek to educate the participants regarding the same. The day-1 of the workshop will be “Understanding legal provisions and manner of cross-examination” and day-2 will be “Hands-on experience”.
