About TNNLU

The Government of Tamil Nadu established Tamil Nadu National Law University by an act of State Legislature (Act No 9 of 2012) to provide quality education at the global level. TNNLU strives to advance and disseminate learning and knowledge of law and legal processes and their role in national development.

About STAP

Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav has been adapted to Tamil as Suthanthira Thirunaal Amudha Peruvizha (STAP). It is an initiative to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of India’s progress and the glorious history of its people, culture, and achievements. It embodies India’s socio-cultural, political, and economic identity. STAP is specially dedicated to the people of Tamil Nadu and the people of India, in general. As a part of STAP, TNNLU will be conducting various events from October 2021 to August 2022.

About the Event

We are ecstatic to announce and invite your esteemed institution to the Inter-University Essay Writing Competition jointly organized by the Centre for ADR and ADRC, Tamil Nadu National Law University as a part of Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav which is being celebrated as Suthanthira Thirunaal Amudha Peruvizha (STAP) in Tamil Nadu.

The topic of this essay writing competition is – “Impact of Panchayat System on Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms in India”.

Registration

The last date for registration is 15th March 2022 and submission is 31st March 2022. We have cash prizes for the first and second positions and all participants will be given certificates.
