As an Advocate Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced advocates and provide legal assistance to the underprivileged.
Roles and Responsibilities of the Intern
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues related to the NGO’s areas of focus.
- Assist in providing legal aid and support to underprivileged individuals and communities.
- Attend court proceedings and hearings with senior advocates to support legal representation for clients.
- Communicate with clients and assist in providing legal advice and guidance.
- Conduct legal awareness sessions for underprivileged communities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience in legal aid or working with underprivileged communities is preferred, but not required.
- Must be registered as an Advocate in Delhi.
- Passion for social justice and working with underprivileged communities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
