“LE DILLEMA”-A CORPORATE LAW COMPETITION BY CENTRE FOR CORPORATE AND COMPETITION LAW, SYMBIOSIS LAW SCHOOL, HYDERABAD [6-7 MAY, 2023]: REGISTER BY 30 APRIL, 2023!!

The Centre for Corporate and Competition Law at Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad is glad to announce that we are conducting the 1st Edition of the one-of-a-kind Competition, “LE DILLEMA”

Through this event, CCCL aims to highlight the importance of corporate restructuring by providing students with an opportunity to expand their knowledge by way of analysis of business situations, in order to build strategies for restructuring.

ABOUT THE COMPETITION:

LE DILEMMA is a Corporate Law Competition that aims to provide students with a better understanding of Corporate Law, Mergers, and Amalgamation. The main objective behind the competition is to encourage the participants to think outside the box with the situation at hand and the scenario in which they are put in and will be pushed to their fullest capabilities to assess the situation and work accordingly. The competition will be conducted online.

Who can register?
Students duly enrolled and pursuing 3-year or 5-year undergraduate law courses and students of finance courses are allowed to participate.

The competition also allows cross college teams.

E-certificates will be provided to all the participants.

About the Centre for Corporate and Competition Law:
Established in 2018, the Centre for Corporate and Competition Law (CCCL) is a student-run centre aiming to provide a platform for students of the institute to explore and learn more about the nuances of Corporate and Competition Law, and to prepare them for the corporate world. To advance our agenda, CCCL has been successful in conducting multiple landmark events including the first-ever National Corporate Restructuring Competition in 2019.

Furthermore, we have successfully organised several national webinars, discussions, capsule courses and a National Conference in competition law with over 30 research paper submissions from across the country, of which many of our events were in association with the Competition Commission of India. We have also spread our roots into banking law by conducting a three-day value-added course on the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. Over the past two years, we have invited eminent personalities like Mr. Dhanendra Kumar, the first Chairperson of the CCI and Dr. K. D. Singh, Joint Secretary for Law at CCI to conduct webinars on relevant topics.

Our very recent event was SLSH’s first-ever corporate consultancy competition conducted last month.
