About the Webinar

Doping in sports is a widespread problem that undermines the spirit of fair play and puts athletes’ health at risk. India, like many other countries, has been struggling to combat doping in sports and implement effective anti-doping policies.

The webinar aims to critically analyze the current situation of anti-doping policies in India, discuss the challenges and opportunities in implementing effective anti-doping policies and alternative approaches to combating doping in sports. The specific objectives are:

  • To discuss the current policy framework for anti-doping in India and its effectiveness
  • To identify the challenges and opportunities in implementing anti-doping policies in India
  • To explore alternative approaches to eradicate doping in sports, with a focus on strategies that are more inclusive and equitable across different countries and regions.

To ensure comprehensive coverage of the implementation of anti-doping policies, we have invited experts from various fields to share their insights. Our panel of speakers includes experts from the sports industry, renowned academicians, and policymakers who have valuable experience and knowledge on this topic. Together, they will offer a diverse range of perspectives and engage in meaningful discussions on the current situation of anti-doping policies in India.
