About the Opportunity
Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. is inviting applications for the post of Assistant Manager- IPR- Patents and Designs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Handle and Manage all Intellectual Property transactional work-flow: – Within legal team – Interfacing with Business units and attorney firms – Government agencies
- Assisting in conducting overseas and domestic Trademark, Copyright, Patents, and Design searches.
- Should have experience in Patents and Design filing, and renewal for responses.
- Should be familiar with the IPO website and e-module.
- Assisting in opposition, rectifications, and IP litigation matters.
- Assisting in the screening of Trademark, Patents, and Design Journals.
- Draft and review IP-related legal documents.
- Collaborate and assist senior team members in allied matters.
- Manage IP software implementation, processes, and systems.
- Liaise with external attorneys, counsels, and IP law firms.
- Legal research on new IP laws.
- Compilation of MIS for periodic internal reviews.
Eligibility Criteria
- LLB +(Preferred- Specialization in IPR (short-term courses/modules)).
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in IP law firm(s) or in-house. (Preferred- Experience in IOLITE software).
Skills
- Good communication skills (oral & written)
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and any other software suite.
- Good Analytical and logical reasoning.
- Pro-active and goal-oriented approach
- Team player
