About NECTAR
NECTAR is an autonomous society, established in 2012 under the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India with its headquarters at Shillong, Meghalaya. The Centre will look at harnessing and leveraging niche frontier technologies available with central scientific departments and institutions.
In order to assist the eight states of the North Eastern Region (NER), NECTAR will be ensuring applications of appropriate technologies for development in the areas of biodiversity concerns, watershed management, telemedicine, horticulture, infrastructure planning & development, planning and monitoring, and tele-schooling using cutting-edge MESHNET solutions, employment generation etc. through the utilization of local products/resources and associated skill development.
NECTAR was formed in 2012 through the merger of the former National Mission on Bamboo Applications (NMBA) and the Mission on Geospatial Applications (MGA). NECTAR’s primary mandate is to design technological solutions and to adapt and adopt such technologies for effective, local use in Northeast India in consultation with state governments.
About the Opportunity
The legal Associate will be one of the officials having domain expertise and shall involve in assisting the Advocate of NECTAR in legal matters. The person should contribute effectively towards the resolution of the pending legal/arbitration matters. This is an on-site job opportunity based in New Delhi for a contractual period of 6 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- Degree in Law or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in handling matters related to Legal and Arbitration
- Experience of working in Govt. Sector will be preferred.
- Upper Age Limit: 45 Years
Salary
Rs 50,000-55,000/- per month.
