About ICREP

Prof. N R Madhava Menon’s Interdisciplinary Centre for Research Ethics and Protocols is an Inter-University Centre of Excellence which undertakes research and academic programs in the area of law, bioethics as well as in all areas of application of research ethics. The Centre is housed on the main campus of Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kerala.

About the Journal

ICREP Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies is an open-access peer-reviewed journal published quarterly by the Centre. The primary objective of the journal is to serve as an important academic platform to deal with contemporary affairs in the areas where there is an intersection of law and ethics about science and technology.

ICREP is pleased to invite the submission of well-researched articles from academicians, students, lawyers, researchers etc.

Themes

Any Interdisciplinary area has an interlinkage between law, science, technology and ethics.

Submission Procedure

  • ·Submissions are accepted only in electronic form. The submission can be made either through the journal website (https://icrep.cusat.ac.in/journal/contribute) or by email to icrepjournal@cusat.ac.in with the email subject ‘Submission – Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies’. The document should be in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.

Submission guidelines

  • The paper must contain an abstract (Not less than 250 words) followed by at least 5 keywords.
  • All the papers must contain an introduction and conclusion with suggestions.
  • The layout must be as follows:
  • Font: Times New Roman,
  • Font size: headings -14; Body-12,
  • Line Spacing:1.5,
  • Margin: Left-1.5; Right-1; Top-1; Bottom-1,
  • Footnote: Times New Roman with Font size-10,
  • Subheadings: Times New Roman-12, Left Aligned.
  • Co-authorship is allowed for up to a maximum of 2 authors
  • The word limit for the article shall be 4000-8000 words.
  • Footnotes should be in Bluebook (20th ed.) citation format.
  • A Plagiarism report should also be submitted along with the paper. Papers exceeding 10% similarity will be summarily rejected.
  • Copyright of all entries shall exclusively vest with Prof. N. R. Madhava Menon Interdisciplinary Centre for Research Ethics and Protocols and the submission would imply that the author has assigned such rights to the Centre.
  • The author is required to attach a declaration form stating that his/her work is original and hasn’t been published anywhere or not in consideration for publication else were.

Submission Deadline

The last date for submission is July 31, 2023.
