Alliance University is a non-profit private university established in the State of Karnataka by Act No. 34 of 2010 under the recognition of the University Grants Commission of the Ministry of Education.
About the Centre
The Alliance Centre for Intellectual Property Rights (ACIPR) was established with the aim of evolving as a center of excellence in IPR Research and Innovation. It intends to engage academicians, jurists, research scholars, and practitioners in research and training for the promotion and protection of IP rights.
The Centre is an initiative of Alliance School of Law, Alliance University Bengaluru for making an active contribution to the development & promotion of all forms of IP rights. It aims to give special emphasis on fostering research & development in the unexplored areas of the IP domain.

The Call for Blogs presents a unique avenue for individuals to cultivate knowledge through creative expression, bolster research acumen, and establish an inventive platform to deliberate upon the latest advancements in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). It stands as a remarkable opportunity not only to explore but also to expand and fortify one’s understanding across diverse facets of IPR.
Through this initiative, the blog channelizes the dissemination of short articles, case summaries, case commentaries, and analyses spotlighting contemporary progressions within the realm of IPR. This dynamic platform operates on a bi-monthly schedule, offering an uninterrupted flow of insightful content throughout the year.
Objectives of the Blog
- To develop knowledge in a creative manner
- To enhance research skills
- To provide a creative platform for discussing developments in the field of IPR
- To explore, gain, and increase knowledge in various fields of IPR
- Authors are encouraged to submit plagiarism-free articles. Articles with more than 10% plagiarism shall be rejected.
- Co-authorship of a maximum of 2 is permitted.
- Articles should be limited between the range of 600-1500 words.
- Articles must contain references as end notes.
- Formatting Guidelines:
- Body: Font Style: Times New Roman; Font Size: 12; Line Spacing: 1.5.
- Headings: Font Style: Times New Roman; Font Size: 14; Style: Bold.
- References: Font Style: Times New Roman; Font Size: 10; Line Spacing: 1.0.
- The method of Citation shall be Bluebook 20th edition.
- All submissions should be in MS Word format only.
- Use of the first person should be avoided. All pages shall be numbered.
- All the Blogs should be submitted with a cover page with the following information: Name, Institutional Affiliation, Correspondence Address, E-Mail ID, and Phone Number.
- Alliance Centre for Intellectual Property Rights (ACIPR), Alliance School of Law, Alliance University, Bengaluru shall be the sole copyright owner of all the published materials.
- Blogs should be submitted along with a duly signed declaration. (Click here for declaration)
