About the Opportunity

KnowLaw has opened up applications for Research & content Writing and Student Editorial Board Internships. Interns are required for a minimum period of one month for the Legal Research and Content Writing Internship and a minimum period of six months for the Student Editorial Board Internship. The internship duration can be extended based on the Intern’s performance. Certificate of Internship and Appreciation will be provided to each intern. Due credits will be given for published articles. Letter of Recommendation will be given based on performance and eligible candidates will also get a chance to become a part of the KnowLaw Team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The Interns will be allotted one topic at a time along with content guidelines.
  • The Interns are expected to submit the content within the allotted deadline. After the submission, they will be allotted their next topic.
  • Due credit will be given to the interns for their content on the platform.
  • Reviewing and editing articles and blogs. Checking and Verifying Facts.
  • Ensuring that the language, grammar, and formatting are fit for publication.
  • After having done the above-mentioned tasks, the editor shall prepare and submit a report along with the edited manuscript to the manager for further review.

Eligibility Criteria

Legal Research and Content Writing Internship – Anyone enrolled in the five-year integrated law program or in a three-year law program can apply. Academicians and Practitioners can apply too.
Student Editorial Board – Applicants currently enrolled in their 2nd Year or above in their 5-year Integrated Law Program or 1st Year or above in their 3-year LLB Program.

  • The subject of the email should be ‘Application for Internship – (Month for which you are applying)’.
  • The writing sample can even be any research paper or any article written in the past by the applicant.
  • As we receive a large number of applications, we might not be able to reply to all the emails. However, we try our level best to reply to each and every individual email. Selected applicants will be informed within two weeks of the receipt of their application.
