About the Opportunity
Region or Country Legal is responsible for all business units and all associated locations of Valeo in India. This includes validation of customer agreements, ensuring valid agreements are entered with all suppliers, and managing legal litigations if any with suppliers/customers.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Validation and finalization of Customer agreement in line with the guidance and expectations of Group Legal.
- Responsible for ensuring the validity of all customer agreements and in case of expiry initiating extension and completing on-time renewal.
- Supplier agreement management which includes entering the agreement with the supplier as per Valeo purchasing guidelines, ensuring monitoring and on-time renewal of supplier agreement.
- Supplier Tool agreement management which includes entering the agreement with the supplier as per Valeo purchasing guidelines, ensuring monitoring and on-time renewal of supplier agreement.
- Litigation management for all commercial transactions with Customers and Suppliers.
- Risk management – Coach team members at all functions at ND/SSC and Site by explaining the importance of legal implications on the commercial transaction and improving the legal standard.
Eligibility
The position requires collaboration skills and influencing skills as this role will engage at all levels of internal and external organizations, including relations with officials.
