About the Competition
The Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Law at the Institute of Law, Nirma University, is excited to announce an upcoming blog writing competition.
This competition aims to provide a platform for students, researchers, and professionals to share their ideas and perspectives on the intersection of artificial intelligence and law.
The competition will be open to participants from all over the nation who are interested in exploring the potential of AI and its impact on the legal industry. Participants are invited to submit original and thought-provoking blog posts that explore topics related to AI and law.
This competition is an excellent opportunity for participants to showcase their writing skills, gain recognition for their ideas, and contribute to the discourse on AI and law. It is also a great way to engage with the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Law and its work in promoting research and education in this field. We encourage all those interested in AI and law to participate in this exciting competition and share their unique perspectives on this important topic.

The competition is open for law students, academicians, practitioners and researchers etc. This blog writing competition is an opportunity if you are inclined to know the role of AI in the Legal arena.

Submission Guidelines
- There is no registration fee for the competition.
- Joint authorship is permitted to a maximum of two authors. However, both authors need to register in the same Google form.
- Submissions are to be made in electronic form only and a submission link will be provided to the registered participants.
- Submission should be made exclusively through the provided link; email submissions will not be accepted.
- The file name should be the Author’s name.
- The blog must not exceed a maximum of 1500 words (excluding footnotes and citations).
- The main text should be in Times New Roman with a font size of 12 and line spacing of 1.5. The footnotes should be in Times New Roman, font size 10 with spacing of 1.0.
- One-inch margins should be maintained on all four sides.
- Citation Style: Bluebook, 21st Edition
- The blog has to be submitted in soft copy in both PDF and MS Word.
- All submitted blogs must be aligned to the Themes and Sub-Themes mentioned above.
- Only original unpublished work is sought. Any blog submitted to present identical or substantially similar work already published or under review for any other publication will not be considered.
- Any submission containing more than 20% plagiarism (based on Turnitin assessment) will be liable to automatic rejection.
- Kindly adhere to the above-mentioned guidelines. Submissions that do not adhere to these instructions will be subject to automatic rejection.
- Last Date of Registration: 05th January 2024
- Last Date of Submission of Blog: 31st January 2024
- Declaration of Results: 20th February 2024
- Prize Money: The winners will be awarded the following exciting prize money:First Prize: Rs. 5,000/-Second Prize: Rs. 3,000/-Third Prize: Rs. 2,000/-
- Publication with CAIL: The top ten blogs will also be published on the website of the Centre for AI and Law.
- E-certificates: E-certificates of participation will be provided to all the registered participants who will submit their blogs.
