About the Webinar

The Internet Society Bengaluru Chapter will be hosting a webinar titled “Know Your Rights, Protect Your Data”, on the occasion of Data Privacy Week 2024.

About the Topic

This comprehensive session focuses on the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA)’s implications on Data Principals. Delving into fundamental concepts surrounding privacy and data vocabulary building, the discussion explores grounds for processing personal data.

The session enlightens participants on their rights as Data Principals, encompassing withdrawal of consent, information access, correction, grievance redressal, and the right to nominate. The session will be followed by a 5-minute Q&A round, providing participants with essential knowledge for navigating data protection legislation and exercising their rights effectively.
