The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab was established by the State Legislature of Punjab and officially registered in July 2006. 

RGNUL, Punjab is known for its academic excellence, attaining approval from the Bar Council of India (BCI) and registration with the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi.

RGNUL, Punjab is conducting a one day seminar titled ‘Senior Citizens and Elderly People: Legal, Social, and Ethical Perspectives’ on March 18, 2024. This event is sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), North-Western Regional Centre, Chandigarh.

Submission Guidelines

  • The research papers should pertain to any of the sub-themes of the conference.
  • Participants shall be required to submit an abstract of around 350 words on or before 28.01.2024
  • Abstract shall also contain, name of the author / authors, email ID of the author’s contact number and designation.
  • Acceptance of abstracts shall be communicated separately. Payment link shall be shared separately, if abstract is selected.
  • Full paper shall not exceed 6000 words. It shall be typed in Times New Roman, Font Size 12 on A4 size paper on any of the sub-themes of the conference with 1” margin on all sides with 1.5 line spacing using MS Word.
  • Abstract and papers shall be required to be emailed at seminar@rgnul.a.cin
  • Citation shall be strictly in accordance with Bluebook (20 Edition).
  • University may publish selected papers. Selection of papers for publication shall be the exclusive discretion of the University

Eligibility Criteria

All academicians, professionals, students and researchers are eligible to participate in the seminar.

The event will be held at the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab.

  • Student and Researchers: INR 500 + GST (First Author), Second Author: INR 250 + GST
