About the Internship
Chamber of Senior Advocate Pijush K. Roy is looking to hire 2 interns for the months of February-April, 2024. The Chamber is largely involved in all types of civil, criminal, corporate, constitutional, and pro-bono matters before the Supreme Court of India and High Courts across the country.
Eligibility
- The law student should be in the 4th-5th year of law school in case of an integrated degree or in the 3rd year in case of a year law degree;
- The candidate should be able to demonstrate past experience in dealing with litigation-related works and assignments relating to the Supreme Court in their CV. Academics will also be given equal weightage while evaluating the CV;
- Is hungry for knowledge and has a passion for learning more about the nuances of litigation at the Apex Court;
- Has prior experience working with judicial offices and/or chambers of senior advocates at the Supreme Court and/or the High Courts;
Responsibilities
The tasks entail, but are not limited to drafting, researching, extensive reading, briefing and assisting in various other nuances of the chamber.
