Recently, the Rajasthan High Court quashes charge sheet u/s 498A against the husband’s family members.
The bench of Justice Sudesh Bansal was dealing with the petition filed to quash the FIR registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 406,323 IPC.
In this case, Husband Suresh Kumar Narania filed a divorce petition, and the Family Court No.3 in Jaipur granted a decree of divorce, under Section 13 of HMA. The grounds for divorce were cited as cruelty and desertion by non-petitioner No.2, Suresh’s spouse.
