The Supreme Court on Thursday remarked that while it may be inclined to grant bail in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS) cases where ganja (marijuana) or charas (hashish) is involved, it may not do so for heroin cases[Darshna Rani v. State of Punjab].
