KPMG India is hiring for Legal and Compliance for the Bangalore location.
Eligibility :
(i) Candidate should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational, negotiation, and time management skills, and capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
(ii) Registered lawyers with relevant legal experience or fresh graduates with prior internship experience.
(iii) A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a 3-year or 5-year in-person program.
(iv) Applicants should demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and oral, and be proficient in drafting and legal research.
(v) Strong knowledge of Legal & Compliance under different law categories, i.e. Labour laws, HSE, Admin, Secretarial, Finance, Sector-specific laws for different sectors, etc.
Responsibility :
(i) Ability to conduct compliance risk assessments/reviews/audits and identify & mitigate compliance risks under various sectors.
(ii) Drafting and vetting agreements, advising clients on a variety of legal issues, etc.
(iii) Creating compliance checklists, compliance manuals, policies, SOPs, training manuals, etc.
(iv) Preparation of reports for Senior Management within the company and for clients
(v) Experience in Compliance tool implementations, handling of tool implementations for multiple clients, monitoring compliance tool on behalf of clients
