The ITPO is inviting applications for the Deputy Manager (Law) position.
This direct recruitment targets eligible candidates who participated in the Personality Test/Interview for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023, Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2023, or the Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination, 2023, conducted by the UPSC, but were not finally recommended for appointment and opted to disclose their details under the Disclosure Scheme.

- Essential: Candidates must possess an LL.B./B.G.L. Degree from a recognized University.
- Note on Percentage: If your university provides CGPA/OGPA, it must be converted to a percentage as per the university’s conversion norms, and you must produce an equivalence certificate. Rounding off of percentage marks is not acceptable (e.g., 54.99% is treated as less than 55%).
- Essential Experience for Legal Roles
- Essential: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required. This experience can be gained through practice as an Advocate, or in the judiciary of a State Government, or within the Legal Department of the Central or State Government, or in a Public Sector Undertaking. Experience is reckoned as of the closing date for applications and is considered on a post-qualification basis where necessary.
- Age Limit for ITPO Law Vacancy
- The maximum age limit for the Deputy Manager (Law) post is 30 years.
- The cut-off date for calculating age and experience is the last date of submission of the online application form.
- Relaxations in the upper age limit are available for SCs/STs/OBCs-NCL/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)/Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India Rules.

- A fee of Rs. 1000/- is payable.
- However, SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.

Selection Process
The selection process for the Deputy Manager (Law) position at ITPO is structured to identify the most suitable candidates.
- Initial Screening: Candidates will first be screened based on their fulfillment of eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, experience, and age.
- Shortlisting for Interview: Shortlisting for the personal interview, conducted by ITPO, will be based on the final score obtained in the respective UPSC examinations (Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023, Engineering Services (Main) Examination, 2023, or Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination, 2023) for those who appeared in the Personality Test/Interview but were not finally recommended and disclosed their details.
- Final Merit: The final merit list will be prepared based on a comprehensive evaluation with the following weightages:
- 50% weightage for the final scores obtained in the respective UPSC examinations.
- 20% weightage for essential Educational Qualifications.
- 30% weightage for the personal interview conducted by ITPO.
- Provisional Selection: Selection is provisional and subject to verification of all submitted documents, character, antecedents, and meeting requisite medical standards. Candidates will be called for document verification and/or interview, and their identities will be thoroughly checked.
