About the Call for Chapters

School of Legal Studies, Central University of Punjab is making a call for chapters for a book chapter on Legal Dimensions of Waste Management for Sustainable Development published by Shandilya Publications, Delhi, in ISBN book.

The proposed book will focus on chapters on all legal dimensions of waste management for sustainable development.

The new book will explore the cutting edge art of sustainability on the latest green methods for waste management, current judicial approaches, current research problems with solid waste management systems, industrial development, solid waste conversion, regeneration products and materials, and environmental solutions.

Development of social awareness and solid waste management with the mission of effective legal framework on solid waste management on green engineering and the future vision for the industrial revolution to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

Eligibility

Researchers and academicians are invited to contribute innovative ideas and laws for waste management related to domestic and international perspectives in chapters.

Submission Guidelines

  • All manuscripts must be in (Times New Roman 12) in 1.5 spacing with at least one-inch margins on all sides. 
  • Cover page: Manuscripts of a paper should have a cover page providing the
    • Title of the Paper
    • Name
    • Address and Institution
    • Phone
    • Email
  • Following the cover page, there should be an ‘abstract’ page, which should contain the chapter’s title, the subtitle “Abstract,” and a summary of the paper in double space, not exceeding 300 words, along with three to four keywords.
  • The text of the chapter should not start on this page but on a new page.
  • The References/ citation style in the Chapters and submitted for publication shall conform to the ILI Rules of footnoting available here.
  • Each figure/table should be numbered titled. 
  • The total length of the chapter should be 4000-6000 words (including abstract, table, chart, reference, etc).
  • Kindly mention the corresponding author’s E-mail address.
  • Each contribution must be original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere.
  • The editor has the right to reject the copied content summarily.
  • The chapters should contain research with adequate references and suggestions helpful to lawmakers, policymakers, and society.

Publication

There will be no publication charge for the contribution of the book chapter, and the book will be released in October 2022.
