Bank of India (BOI) has announced its specialist officer recruitment drive (Project No. 2026-27/02), inviting online applications for the post of Law Officer in Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS-II).
Eligible law graduates and practicing advocates can apply through the official BOI portal between September 10 and September 25, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria (As on August 1, 2026)
1. Educational Qualification:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized University/Institute.
- Minimum Marks:60% aggregate for General/EWS candidates, and 55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.
2. Professional Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience as a practicing Advocate at the Bar or as a Law Officer in a Bank, Financial Institution, PSU, or Government entity.
- Experience is calculated from the date of enrolment with the Bar Council.
3. Age Limit:
- Minimum Age:25 years
- Maximum Age:30 years
- Upper age relaxation applies: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non-creamy layer), and 10 years for PwBD candidates.
Selection Process
The selection methodology will comprise an online test and/or personal interview, depending on the volume of eligible applications.
- Online Examination (If conducted): Will consist of two sections:
- Professional Knowledge (Law): 100 marks (100 minutes)
- English Language:25 marks (100 minutes – Qualifying in nature)
- Negative Marking: One-fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for wrong answers.
- Personal Interview: Candidates who qualify the online exam will be called for an interview carrying 100 marks.
